The Skeleton See-Through Exhibition is an interactive exhibition where visitors explore the hidden insides of living creatures and everyday objects through the concept of “seeing through” them.
In today’s world, where many things have become black boxes, the exhibition offers immersive “see-through experiences” using digital technology, cross-sectional displays, and video content to reveal how things work.
Visitors will discover surprising inner structures and fascinating relationships between the outside and inside—
things impossible to imagine from the surface alone. By drawing attention to internal structures and mechanisms we rarely think about in daily life, the exhibition sparks curiosity and wonder in visitors of all ages, from children to adults.
In the sequel, Skeleton See-Through Exhibition 2, two brand-new zones—“Nature See-Through” and “Invisible See-Through”—have been added, creating an even deeper and more immersive see-through experience.

CHECK POINT
Exhibition Structure
“Skeleton See-Through Exhibition” is an exhibition that introduces the hidden insides of living creatures and everyday objects through the concept of “seeing through” them.
And now, the Skeleton See-Through Exhibition is back—bigger and better than ever!
Packed with interactive digital experiences and hands-on analog exhibits, there are plenty of things to see, touch, and explore. Step into the hidden inner worlds that are usually invisible, and discover how the outside and inside are connected. Through these discoveries, unexpected insights and moments of wonder await.
“What does the inside look like?”
That curiosity can lead to exciting new learning experiences and discoveries.
What does the inside of your own body look like? Move your body, and your image on the screen becomes see-through! You’ll be able to see bones, blood vessels, and muscles in action. Feel the electric signals flowing through your body and experience the weight of a human brain. This is the ultimate human body see-through experience zone!
What shape are this animal’s bones? What secrets are hidden in a shark’s teeth? How fast do other creatures’ hearts beat? By looking inside creatures other than humans, you’ll uncover fascinating body structures and surprising differences you may never have noticed before.
Have you ever imagined what a car would look like if you could see through it? At the exhibition, you can watch footage of an entire car scanned with X-ray CT technology. You can also explore how piano keys work, what’s inside a ball, and many other familiar objects from everyday life.
What lies beneath the ground? What does the bottom of the ocean look like? What is happening deep inside the Earth? By seeing through nature, you’ll discover mysterious hidden worlds all around us.
Did you know there are forms of light invisible to the human eye that play an important role in our daily lives? What kind of world appears when you become aware of these invisible phenomena? The Invisible Zone lets you explore the mysteries of things we cannot normally see.
Try the See-Through Quizzes located throughout the five zones! Use the hints to figure out the answers, then check your results in the final zone. How many can you get right!?
